Creative Enterprise Development

Introduction
At Louth County Enterprise Board we value the creative industries as a key sector that has the potential to forge ahead with its creative and innovative thinking, the commitment of its practitioners, and the support of the business community.

We aim to create an environment in the county and its hinterland that nurtures creative opportunity and actively supports creative enterprise. We intend our creative enterprises to be capable of generating premium commercial, community and cultural wealth for our region.

Louth County Enterprise Board has demonstrated significant commitment to the development of the creative industries sector through partnerships with organisations including Newry & Mourne Enterprise Agency, Craft & Design Collective, Monaghan County Enterprise Board and Louth County Council. LCEB programmes have included Louth Craftmark, Craftmark and the Creative Enterprise Club.

In an effort to streamline the supports we offer across all of the disciplines with the creative industries sector we will work with Louth Craftmark and its new Creative Spark project to offer support to new start-ups and established creative enterprises. We hope we can continue to support established and emerging entrepreneurs to grow sustainable creative businesses which add to the cultural and economic life of County Louth.
