Louth County Enterprise Board at Showcase Ireland
Louth County Enterprise Board is please to support three new faces at Showcase Ireland 2011. Orla O’Grady (Orla O’Grady Design Studio), Sarah McKenna (Sarah McKenna Ceramics) and Derek Bailey (DB Woodcraft) are showcasing their new collections to an international audience of buyers. Now in its 35th year, Showcase attracts over 5000 visitors from 16 countries.
Button Brooches by Sarah McKenna Ceramics were selected for the Top 50 New Product Awards 2011 which were chosen by an independent panel of retailers and are displayed in a specially designed area in the centre of the Main Hall. Showcase Ireland runs from Sunday 23rd to Wednesday 26th January 2011.

Mel Bradley Selected To Design The Awards For The Louth County Enterprise Awards 2011
Following an open competition, Louth County Enterprise Board has commissioned Mel Bradley to create 8 awards trophies (7 sectoral awards plus one overall winner) to be given to the winners of its 2011 Enterprise Awards competition.
Mel is a leading Irish textile designer and artist working with luxury fibres and fabrics to create customised interior and fashion products.
Mel has worked with leading Irish Designers including John Rocha, Louise Kennedy, Richard Lewis and Jen Kelly designing and painting exclusive silk wraps and fabrics for their collections.
