  • 26th February: Short-listed companies interviewed by Judging Panel

  • 5th March: Winners announced at celebratory Lunch

The Competition
Louth County Enterprise Board supports budding entrepreneurs and established businesses. The Board wants to continue this support by recognising risk-takers and rewarding successful business people. The competition is open to all businesses (manufacturing or service) with less than 25 employees. The prize fund for this competition is valued at €25,000 and is spread across a variety of categories. In addition, the 2010 Louth County Enterprise Board nominee for the National Enterprise Awards will be selected from among the entrants.

The Prizes
Each category winner will receive:

  • €1,500 worth of technology and mentoring support.

  • Specially commissioned award.

  • Recognition through photographs and articles in local papers.

  • Coverage on the Louth County Enterprise Board website and promotional material.

  • Opportunity to use award on own company marketing material.

THE OVERALL WINNER WILL BE PRESENTED WITH A CHEQUE FOR €5,000

Award Category
Each business can enter a maximum of two categories and the competition is limited to enterprises which are based in County Louth.

  • Best New Business (Since Jan 2008)

  • Best Manufacturing Business

  • Best Service Provider

  • Women in Enterprise Award

  • Creative Industries

  • Renewable & Environmental

  • Best Exporter (incl. Northern Ireland)
